How can I stay updated on available dates?- Join our newsletter! Just click the "Sign up for updates" button at the bottom of the page. This will ensure that you are the first to know when public dates are available to book!
When do you add availabilities to the calendar?- We typically update our availabilities about a month ahead of time. If you do not see availability for the specific month that you would like to book yet, we are probably working on it right now. Please check back a little closer to the date you are interested in booking.
If you would like to be the first to know when availabilities are added, join our newsletter! Scroll down to the bottom of any page on our website and you will see a "Sign Up For Updates!" button. When you subscribe, we will send you an email every time we update our availability. We look forward to seeing you at the Café soon!

How much is a Private Capyfriends Cafe Booking?-

Private Experiences at Capyfriends Cafe start between $800-$1800 for 6-8 people depending on experience.

Is there an age limit for Capyfriends Cafe?- There is no age limit for our Capybara, Capybara Friends, Capyfriends with Fennec Fox, and Capyfriends with Penguin Experiences. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Participants on the Capyfriends with VIP Babies Experience must be 8 years or older, and children 11 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Participants on the Capyfriends with Lemur Experience must be 12 years old or older.
Where is Capyfriends Cafe located?- We are located in Helen, Georgia at 7019 S Main St.
What is the Capyfriends Cafe Cancellation Policy? Bookings for activities are non-refundable. Your booking fee will be considered a tax deductible donation to Creation Encounters if you miss or cancel your reservation. Late or missed sessions will not be rescheduled for a different date or time.
Who are Nacoochee Adventures and North Georgia Wildlife and Safari Park?- These are the partners that have come together to create Capyfriends Cafe! Nacoochee Adventures hosts all of our Capyfriends experiences. NOGAWILD is a zoological facility in Cleveland, GA where the capybaras live and are cared for! What is your disease screening and vaccination policy/practices for all animals guests interact with?
At Capyfriends Café, the health and safety of both our animal ambassadors and our guests is our top priority. All animals that interact with the public are part of a licensed zoological facility and receive comprehensive veterinary care under the supervision of experienced professionals. Health Screenings: Every animal undergoes routine health checks to ensure they are free of illness or disease before participating in any guest interactions. Animals showing any signs of illness are immediately removed from public contact and cared for by our veterinary team. Vaccinations & Preventive Care: Animals are kept on appropriate vaccination schedules as recommended for their species and receive regular parasite prevention and wellness care. Ongoing Monitoring: Our staff is trained to continually monitor animal behavior and health during guest interactions. If anything seems off, the animal is given a rest period or a veterinary assessment. Our mission is to create safe, meaningful, and educational connections between people and animals — and that begins with the highest standards of care for every animal ambassador.
